STMicroelectronics' M24LR is a dual-interface EEPROM that combines ISO 15693 contactless access with a standard I2C wired interface. This allows a host microcontroller to read and write data locally via I2C while external NFC readers access the same memory wirelessly. M24LR chips support energy harvesting from the RF field, enabling batteryless sensor data logging applications.
