Signature Record

The NDEF Signature record provides digital signature verification for NDEF messages, enabling authentication of tag contents. A signature record contains the cryptographic signature (ECDSA or RSA) and optionally the signing certificate chain. This allows NFC readers to verify that tag data was written by an authorized entity and has not been tampered with — critical for anti-counterfeiting, pharmaceutical authentication, and secure credential applications.
