Texas Instruments' RF430 family combines NFC transponder functionality with integrated analog-to-digital converters (ADC) for sensor applications. The RF430FRL152H integrates a 14-bit sigma-delta ADC that can digitize temperature, pressure, or other sensor readings and store them in NFC-accessible memory. This enables batteryless wireless sensor tags for medical, industrial, and cold-chain monitoring applications.
