The NDEF Handover Select record is the response message in NFC connection handover, where one device selects the preferred alternative carrier (Bluetooth or WiFi) for establishing a high-speed wireless connection. The record contains carrier configuration data including Bluetooth MAC address or WiFi SSID and credentials. Connection handover enables NFC's 'tap to pair' experience for Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and WiFi network sharing.
